The knobs and buttons on the AM Studebaker radio for my Wagonaire have turned a tobacco brown. I read somewhere on the SDC Forum that a hair salon product from Great Britain was the best way to bleach the plastic knobs and buttons back to gleaming white.

Materials Used
Jerome Russell Blonde Cream Peroxide
I bought the Jerome Russell Blonde cream peroxide through Amazon. It ships from London. It is a hair salon product.
Jerome Russell (Punky Colour) Power Bleach
The powder bleach came from Walmart.

The Process
- Mixed with the cream hydrogen peroxide and brushed on
- Exposed to UV, in this case, natural sunshine
- Wiped off and repeated as necessary until the plastic knobs and buttons became totally white
The Result
The knobs and buttons on my Wagonaire radio are now gleaming white!
